The blood pressure cuff alignment is an important component of measurement accuracy, so if your cuff is misaligned, it can contribute to inaccurate results. The expanded coverage OMRON Easy-Wrap ComFit cuff (HEM-FL31-B) inflates around the entire circumference of your arm to help ensure that the brachial artery is compressed for a comfortable, accurate reading. Pre-formed for easy application, this wide-range cuff fits both standard- and large-sized arms, 9” to 17” in circumference. When purchasing a home blood pressure monitor, it’s important to know your appropriate cuff size. To determine your proper cuff size, use a cloth measuring tape and measure the circumference of your left upper arm, midway between your elbow and shoulder. Ensure that the blood pressure cuff is neither too tight nor too loose to help ensure the most accurate readings and provide you a more accurate picture of your heart’s health. This cuff is only compatible with the following OMRON Blood Pressure Monitor models: BP5250, BP5255, BP7350, BP7450. The OMRON 7 Series, 10 Series and Silver upper arm blood pressure monitors have been clinically validated for use in patients with type II diabetes.

Remove tight fitting clothing from your upper arm.
Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor. Rest your left arm on a table so that the cuff is at the same level as your heart. Turn the palm of your hand upward.
Hold the cloth closure on the cuff with your other hand.
Turn the palm of your hand upward. Apply the cuff on your upper arm.
Align the marker on the cuff over the brachial artery on the inside of your arm.
The cuff tube should run down the center of the arm even with the middle finger.
The bottom of the cuff should be approximately ½-1 inch above the elbow.
Secure the cuff around your arm using the cloth closure.
Make sure the cuff is wrapped firmly in place.
Relax your arm and place your elbow on the table so that the cuff is at the same level as your heart.

Yes, OMRON home blood pressure monitors are latex-free. This includes the monitor, the cuffs and the AC adapter (if included).

Your HEM-RML31-B upper arm cuff is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship appearing within 1 year from the date of purchase, when used in accordance with the instructions provided with this upper arm cuff. The above warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser. We will, at our option, replace without charge any arm cuff covered by the above warranty. Replacement is our only responsibility and your only remedy under the above warranty.
